The Ojai Foundation's mission is to strengthen individuals, families and communities by teaching ways to listen and speak from the heart, to honor life's passages and to appreciate our connection with nature -- supporting the emergence of a compassionate, sustainable and peaceful world.

Located in Ojai, California, the foundation honors the ancient tradition of sitting in Council, listening to the stories of others, the diversity of experience and understanding, light and dark, that resides in our collective heart; and in turn, sharing our own story with authenticity and integrity.

In 2006, WFTW donated $5,000 to the Ojai Foundation to support council programs at New Visions Charter School in Santa Monica, CA.

WFTW's Involvement with The Ojai Foundation:

Ojai Foundation was one of WFTW's first partners and was one of the first organizations to receive donations from WFTW. WFTW believes in the foundation's sustainable, whole approach to council. One hundred percent of the donations WFTW has made to Ojai have gone directly to help young people communicate with one another. We feel open, honest discussions are the foundation of healthy, knowledgeable communities and we're proud that Ojai Foundation is helping shape young people in Southern California.
