WFTW's Involvement with Liga Mac:

Women for the World has decided to collaborate with Liga Mac to raise awareness about the area, community and their mission. After spending time with the organization, it was clear that Liga Mac's mission and vision were in alignment with those of WFTW: working to improve education and its accessibility to those within our communities. Furthermore, we feel that Liga Mac is an extremely high functioning organization, with minimal expenses going into administrative costs. The organization functions with the support of dedicated Mexican, American, and Canadian volunteers working to maximize the organization's impact on the community. In addition, Liga Mac provides local families with emergency grocery money, medical assistance, clothing, provides donated eye glasses, counseling, advocacy and educational tutoring and financial support. It is our great hope  that we can provide  Liga Mac with enough support to help them grow and continue with their ground-breaking work.
